New Postagram updates; edit contacts & and type more

I’m happy to say that Postagram v2.4 is now available as a free download on the iTunes store. Aside from the usual bevy of tweaks and improvements we added 2 great new features:

- edit/delete contacts

- more space for messages

Please check it out and let us know what you think! If you dig it, please rate and comment it in the iTunes store.

note: You may notice that your contact list may appear slightly different in the new update. Once you’ve sent a card, we format the addresses into a more simplified version. To see the full address when in the edit mode, click on the “Touch here for international locations” button.

  1. It will let you edit all addresses EXCEPT the one identified as ‘YOU’. Mine is wrong and I can’t change it. What happened?

  2. Looking at it again, the new download has stripped all apartment numbers and Town and State data from my addresses. At least it left the zip code.

  3. So how many characters can a postcard message contain now. Also, can you ship postcards outside the US? Thanks for your help! Follow @legobatman on IG!

  4. Hey Kim, we currently allow 180 characters (40 more than before). The app is not available outside of the US, however you can send cards internationally at no extra charge. Of course they won’t arrive with the same shipping times as domestic cards, but we still offer our guarantee. So if any card doesn’t arrive, just let us know and we’ll resend it.

  5. Silly question, but why the 180 limit when that still only uses half of the available space? And, I’d love to be able to insert blank lines in the body of my postcard. This is a postcard after all, not a tweet! ;)

  6. Great questions actually. The character limitations are to prevent text from slipping off the card, but as you stated, we can probably add some more. We are slowly testing more space with each release to make sure that we aren’t going overboard, so hopefully we’ll be able to add more character space in future versions.
